My bodybuilding journey began with someone who saw potential in me before I considered stepping on stage: Phil Morgan. He spotted me doing calisthenics, including pull-ups with 225 pounds strapped to my waist, and encouraged me to compete. It took four and a half years of convincing before I finally took that step.
Fitness had already been part of my life for years, but in 2021, I stepped on a bodybuilding stage for the first time. I had bulked to 246 pounds as a natural athlete and had 15 weeks to reach the 205-pound weight cap for Classic Physique.
That preparation challenged me in ways I hadn’t experienced before. Managing hunger, fatigue, and the demands of training taught me about discipline and my own resilience. Winning my first show made the experience unforgettable. Being on stage brought back the adrenaline I’d felt playing sports, and I fell in love with bodybuilding.
By my most recent show in 2025, I had added over 40 pounds of lean muscle mass. Behind that progress were years of consistent training, learning from others, refining my nutrition, and discovering what worked best for my body.
Bodybuilding has helped me grow physically and mentally, but it has also taught me to keep learning. My approach has evolved with experience: working hard matters, and so does understanding how to train, eat, and recover well.
I bring those lessons into my coaching. You don’t need to step on a stage to benefit from them—my goal is to help you build strength, confidence, and habits that fit your life.
